Acceptance Ka Keeda

"Acceptance" ~ it is a simple word with complicated interpretations and consequences. Nowadays, I can see half the world around me  upset because of lack of acceptance. I don't like being told to do things; I do them my way so I can't accept others telling me to do things. Similarly, others can't accept me not doing certain things. I appreciate our politicians' intelligence. When I watch these news debates daily, I wonder from where do they find such wonderful excuses which do make sense (only for the moment) just because they cannot accept what is perhaps seen, felt, touched and heard by a million others. Artists suppress their creativity out of the fear that it would not be understood and in turn, not accepted by the viewers. If I go on listing down who, when, why and how is so bugged with acceptance issues, there shall probably be no end to it. Nobody has been able to abate acceptance issues whether it is me, you or an inter-caste wedding or social acceptance of a woman or the previous generation welcoming ideas of the newer one and vice versa or the cook unwilling to experiment or the kid reluctant to express himself out of the fear of  rejection.
Well, acceptance issues have led to wars, and they've broke out riots.  Mr. and Ms. Michelle have been arguing over a stupid issue since past 25 years of their happy marriage. They've not separated, love still fuels the fire in their heart buy they simply can't accept a particular part of one another. And by now, me and you have come to realize this funny strange fact that: out of sheer insanity, amidst the raging unacceptance, the world's populace still co-exists. Well, I didn't say peacefully... :D

Between Words and Me

Our harmony. Image Courtesy: http://images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/10300000/-Dolphins-dolphins-10346667-1024-768.jpg

It’s a strange love affair between the two of us;
Expressions were blessed with life thus. . .
Till yesterday,
A grim of supression remained in a jiffy
Today reflects the light and there’s no more iffy
It’s indeed a strange love affair:
Between the words and me.
We find closure in this harmony
Of thought and discourse. . .
For this is where our journeys meet.
Together explore new depths
And scale new heights
And together we write the skies,
With the story of our love affair

Freedom!

Image Courtesy: http://charmedyogi.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/freedom.jpg

Knots and tangles in the mind
With utmost care, she tries to unwind!
Answering to a hundred questions,
She's fed up!
Tackling a thousand emotions,
She's fed up!
The only one, perhaps odd in the million's commotion,
She's fed up!

Yet,
It's not the end!
Try harder, master...
She's sure not to bend!
She is her own master,
an independent soul:
She'll fly till the end!
As soon as her wounded wing,
She'll mend!

She is the deep of the ocean,
Holding inside, a whirlpool and all the motion!
Look for signs and Try harder, master;
It all beckons a thunder!
Alas! You're ignorant of her freedom,
Her flame, her inner light-
That could lead you to the pearls,
In the dark of the ocean's wonder!
Try harder master;
The world could never stop miracles to occur!

With a vast emptiness inside,
Lays blank canvas:
all ready to get hued, the palette is right beside!
A Masterpiece does take time;
Try harder master!

She's on the brink of the journey's end;
A journey to her inner peace!
The moment she arrives there,
A new journey shall begin. . .
Her journey to the masterpiece.

Try harder master;
A Masterpiece does take time.
But the world has seen it take shape;
And it is witness to the history a masterpiece creates!
Try harder master;
Even miracles could not bind freedom!
She's into her kingdom of peace,
Try harder, master!

P.S. -

This poetry is inspired from a few beautiful strong genuine women I know; nevertheless, it is a dedication to one of those sweet darlings: Tanya Mishra :)

P.P.S. -

Well, mammamia @ freedomofexpressions.blogspot.com has been closed down to give rise to Soliloquy & Metamorphosis. I am back to my blog after more than a year perhaps and it feels good, it feels me. These words take me through strange emotions and make me travel through each of their detail, whether happy or sad. However, in the end, it is all sorted. Back to the equilibrium. Perhaps, a break sufficed for the time being. A lot has been travelled. The equilibrium shall return too. :)

P.P.P.S. -

To the readers/ critics/ followers of this blog, I look forward to our journey, back again.

With all my love,

niyati :)
